Top Paint Colors for 2023
The most trusted paint companies have something for everyone this year. Whether you are looking to brighten up your life or sooth your weary mind, Sherwin Williams, Benjamin Moore, and Farrow & Ball have a paint color for you.
Need a little inspiration? Here’s a closer look at what’s trending.
Benjamin Moore’s 2023 Paint Color of the Year: Raspberry Blush
Benjamin Moore is entering 2023 with a bang! “Never a backdrop, Raspberry Blush is the definition of charismatic color,” says Andrea Magno, the paint company’s director of color marketing and development. “This unapologetic shade of red-orange had us thinking: bold, bolder, boldest.” Try this color on one, short wall of a room as a focal point or paint it on opposite walls of a square room to make it feel bigger.
These are not the only calming colors of 2023. Try Savannah Green or New Age by Benjamin Moore and pair them with White Heron for a crisp finish.
Rethink Beige with Sherwin-Williams’ Redend Point
“It’s if beige could blush,” says Sue Wadden, the color marketing director at Sherwin-Williams. “It’s a pink-undertone neutral that is warm and earthy, and it has a certain softness and soothing quality to it that is really unique.”
The Sherwin-Williams Color of the Year is Redend Point, and it’s a winner from every angle. Earthy, deep neutrals are all the rage and it’s not hard to see why.
A couple other bold colors to try are Blue Peacock and Peppery by Sherwin-Williams.
Get Bamboozled! Farrow & Ball’s 2023 Color of the Year will make your head spin
Farrow & Ball is also going bold this year with one of their favorite colors: Bamboozle. They say this shade is their “most spirited red” and “brings joy and warmth to any room.” You can pair this color with their beautiful off-white hue, Slipper Satin, adding balance and shape to your space.
